What day is this?? I keep losing track. Oh yeah, Wednesday, August 6th update on TJ Knollenberg. He called me using his cell phone today without any assistance from anyone else. Yeah!! He can now have anything he wants to eat and drink as much water (without thickener) as he wants! He had penne pasta and alfredo sauce for dinner tonight....real food, not pureed! He is just so excited about step forward he takes. He told a friend and I tonight that he has to work very, very hard for each step of progress that he makes, but once he makes it, hes got it. Great attitude. :) His social worker called me today and right now it looks like he will be there four weeks and then released. He will be coming home in a wheelchair it sounds like. This will bring a whole new set of challenges for us as our home is a two story with all the bedrooms and the only full bath upstairs. I cant worry about that right at this moment, but will have to start planning soon. Right now, I am just focusing on today. I am actually in more pain today than I was yesterday, hopefully, that eases soon too. Thanks for the continued prayers and support shown to us during our trying times. HUGS FROM TINA, TJ AND EMILY
