What democracy are politician and the media are talking about.and posing as its protectors. Does democracy mean dynastic rule, scum of the earth looters & plunderer & common criminals to play in the political arena and rob this country left, right and centre, plain idiots without any intellectual capacity and vision to become political elite. This is not what our forefathers sacrificed their present in 1947 for our tomorrows. My late father Major Kausar Ali (from 1st Punjab Regiment) was the first commandant of Walton Refugee Camp, Lahore in 1947. As such, he received the first refugee train that entered Pakistan. As narrated by my late father to his family, when the 1st refugee train reached the Walton Station, he witnessed such unparalleled atrocities committed by Sikhs and Hindus on the refugees while the train was passing through the Indian Territory that even the hardest heart burst out weeping. He witnessed brutally slaughtered bodies of men, women and children, traumatized women holding in their arms their babies and young children’s butchered bodies, the whole station deafened with the shrieks and cries that could make any person insane for a while. Through this post I am openly appealing our Pak Army to take charge and dissolve the current assemblies and install National Government for at least coming 10 years. The National Government should be composed of highly credible and honest professionals and distinguished individuals from different fields who could carry out ruthless accountability, reformation of public institutions, creation of good governance architecture and its rigorous implementation, design and implement social safety net for the common citizenry, revival of planning era to launch annual, mid term and long term perspective plans to bring sense of direction, strategy and implementable road map and implement grass root level democratic framework etc. This is the only way forward for putting this country on the path that Quaid-i-Azam and our forefathers envisioned. Those idiots who are championing the cause of present sham democracy that we have in this country and they are many, have been corrupted. The sane element in this country (which are the silent majority of this country) will support me I am sure of that.
