What determines your trip in France re Aires and sites. Obviously sights play an important decision in where you go but do you then look at campsite or Aires regarding staying. Do you look at just going and stopping when you like where you like? If so do you just stay the night and move on or think about staying a few nights? Would you look at staying on a campsite rather than an aire, if deciding to stay 2 or 3 nights in that area. so as you can bbq or just relax? Do you have a destination in mind but use Aires or a site for a break in the journey? Do you look at Aires as a 1 night option then look for a campsite for the next . I like to explore and see different places preferably with only a max of 2hr driving between. But yes I will put in long hrs to get to destination, but tired then for the next day Like Aires and sites, Aires for handiness but sites for showers and a couple of days relaxing, then I get the itch to move on and explore. Toilet at aire would be nice, but , sorry for wording, if push comes to shove will use onboard facilities. My wife prefers to use sites as you can relax and just rest. Happy to use aire but for one night, anymore then wants a campsite for showers and not packing up every day. Enjoys exploring but prefers to book in advance sites.
