What did Little League and baseball teams teach you? For me: Able to accept losses, mistakes, sometimes rejection, hard work and sweating, when relaxing is easier, disappointments, bumps and bruises, injuries and more negatives. On the plus side sweet victories, perseverance that pays off, maybe a little fame in newspaper reports, satisfaction of doing a job right, EARNING whatever was earned, instead of just a modern participation award which almost means very little, teamwork, and individual accomplishment, friendships, and much more.
