What discussion ? when both AFL-CIO & The SEIU ,U.S Chamber of Commerce,The Corporate Growers,the Catholic Bishops & the United Farm Workers Union (UFW) ,that we Founded & Now this of Exporters of Cheap Slave Bracero Guest Workers & NOT Organize the Undocumented workers or All workers & your Now Leadership in our Former Union that you & hundreds of Rank & File members fought to take their Union back & we all Did !, but their were those that would turn their backs against the CDU Reform movement,but were it not for that thanks to you & Cathy & others we would still be in the Domain of a Captured Association & Not a Real Union by the Rank & File Leadership,yes we were Progressive we Reformed to whats now known as the SEIU Local !000 also support the U.S Senate Bill CIR S-744 is a purely Racist ! Inhumane Bill by the White Racist Anti-Labor Corporations,you recall when we made it a Point on the NAFTA issue & our own Members in the reform movement against educating our Membership & you of all people yes took lead but after a lot of pressure but we finally moved forward & do not get me wrong I have a lot of respect for you & others who bit the bullet & we did educate the membership then & even the Now President of the Local,when even Cathy Hackett was on one of our Local 1000 Labor Mexico Delegations & we all did the work which proved what we said would come to be but members on the delegation & Proud of her for that,today it is a very Sad time all I see is a Local Union that is now on the other side & Nothing that I know has been Progressive on this issue when the National SEIU meets with the Deporter in Chief in requesting that Obama NOT STOP THE DEPORTATIONS !,,while the Deporter has Deported over 2 million Brown skinned & Black & Asian human beings & not to Forget American Born Children of undocumented Parents that were deported,those Children are Considered In Mexico as the new Illegals,on Education,health care,any public services that the Mexican Government can Refuse to allocate & those children of other Countries of their Parents Origin !,& undocumented Children in Concentrations Detention Center in the Hundreds of Thousands yes is Racism ! for a Union Member to go along this BS reeks of another Reform Movement but thats up to the Rank & File & Hopefully that comes to be & put the Hard working Paid staff to do what they are Hired for & commended for thier work !. In Solidarity Brother. Yes we need a DEBATE I AGREE ! & thats history Brother Jim that you & others need to write & Soon you see it is about Educating the Membership as our Hermano Alex Garza would always say LA UNION HACE LA FUERZA ! he two made the Local 1000 what Back then many did not believe but you & others did I will never forget when we Pickted the CSEA HQ & they came out like Yellowjackest to intimidate us with taking Pictires of us with Look in the Camera Al ! remember ?.
