What do nuclear engineering and cooking have in common? Math of course! Math is undeniably important part of life because we use it everyday. Think of all the times when you had to calculate how much time there was until school started or even how a certain test score would affect your grade. Nearly every aspect of life has numbers in; our universe is governed by math principles! Of course, you might be wondering “So what, its just math…you know…that one really boring subject.” This maybe true for academics, but take into consideration how math really benefits our lives. Modern society is built upon the several genres of math. For example, geometry is used for architecture, calculus and algebra for coding, and even theoretical maths for understanding how the world works. If you want to get a grasp on the true power of math and increases your skill, join WHS Math Club. This organization focuses on giving members an enhanced understanding of varying forms of maths and helping people hone their skills in these areas.
