What do we do after we get right with God? We give a Promise of Gods Praise. We will do this through education. We will teach others what we have learned about Gods forgiveness. We will also teach through song. We will enlist music in the evangelistic task of converting sinners. We will educate others through preaching. Verbal praise will employ preaching Gods justice, and mercy to the lost. We give a Pronouncement of Gods Pleasure. We give a statement of what does not please God. Sacrifices and burnt offerings are not what God most desires from his children. We announce what does please God. A spirit broken by remorse and a heart contrite with repentance will not be despised by the Lord. We accept Gods will. We realize that God had to do some tearing down in our life through chastisement before building us up again and reinstating us to full blessings. We do receive the enjoyment of Gods favor. After confession, repentance, and discipline had been completed, we are again able to offer sacrifices of praise in the faith and assurance that God would be pleased to accept them. Getting right with God means admitting our guilt, asking for Gods forgiveness, accepting our chastisement, and then sharing with others God’s mercy. Indeed, the joy of our salvation having been restored to us; it would be impossible to keep it to ourselves!
