What do you do on a rainy Sunday afternoon? If you are me, you cook! I cooked everything from scratch and homemade. Our supper tonight: country fried steak(I rarely fry anything anymore), okra, field peas with snaps, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese (bow ties), gravy and rolls. Dessert: pecan pie from our pecan trees. Karry wanted to know which army was coming to eat. So glad Kennon Chambers, Kristie Sanders Chambers and Will volunteered to come eat supper. We do have left overs for tomorrow night so this was perfect planning on my part!!!! Now to clean up........
