What do you do when illness strikes (aside from curl up on the couch under a heap of blankets wishing your mom was there)? Firstly you need to listen to your body. There is no need to be a hero, which will typically just make matters worse and keep you down and out longer then necessary, so training can be put off. Your diet shouldnt. Dieting is hard and there are a number of things that will come up to derail you...illness is one of them and its about pushing through. If youre sick, you still need to eat. Unless youre vomiting, staying on plan to the best of your abilities is the best course of action. A cold isnt a reason to fall off. Dieting is hard and will always be hard. It will never be convenient so dont succumb to the many convenient excuses.
