What do you do when you hear bad things happening to a christian? This was a question a man once paused to his listeners Many Christians are in the habit of rejoicing especially when they hear bad news about a Christian especially when they dont like that particular Christian or his brand of Christianity. However the truth is that it will do you more harm than good to do so. How so someone may ask The answer to any question lies in 2 Samuel 1:1-27 When David heard that Saul had died in battle he didnt jump in cerebration because his great enemy had died he didnt say God has vindicated me instead he spend a whole day mourning Saul despite the fact that he wanted him dead. David understood a very important thing that he carried an anointing that Saul carried because they had both been anointed by Samuel cerebrating the death of Saul would indirectly cerebrate the death of an Anointed king. So what should you do In the lamentation of David for Saul he says this vs 20 He says tell it not in gath Now gath was in the land of the philistine who were a type of non believers.so when you hear that your brother is in trouble ,has fallen, or is going through issues do not publish it among non believers.
