What do you do with the enormous amount of picture frames that you received as gifts over the years? Well, you can either use them for what they are intended to do - to hold and display photos in, or you can upcycle them into something totally unpredictable and interesting. I chose the latter, and these are my finished products. How? Remove the glass, put a plastic backing, hot-glue some moss onto the plastic backing, gather some small succulent cuttings and hot-glue them onto the moss. Dont worry, the hot glue will do no harm to the succulents. They are tougher than you think they are. A lot of my hot-glued ones are thriving, and whats good is if they grow too big and leggy, just cut them and insert back your cutting onto the moss (or plant in a different pot) while the cut stem will grow more pups. Succulents are so giving like that, and they will continue giving for as long as they live. Go and check your cupboards and whip up something like these...
