What do you guys think of Apogees new Thunderbolt 2 powered AD/DA - TopicsExpress

What do you guys think of Apogees new Thunderbolt 2 powered AD/DA all in one box? The Symphony I/O has been the industry standard for 32 I/O AD/DA conversion and I know that a lot of in the box producers use the Quad or Duet. This looks like a direct response to UADs Apollo range, especially the Twin. The Apogee converters are definitely better quality, but they lack onboard DSP. The new UAD Satellite Quad/Octo was just released with Thunderbolt connectivity so a Satellite + Ensemble could offer a nice combo to rival the Apollo range. Id be interested if you could route that signal for sub 2 millisecond latency like you can with the Apollo, making it perfect for guitars & mics running plugins on the input channel.
