What do you need to do a WORD STUDY? I use: E-Sword Microsoft WORD How do you do a WORD STUDY? 1. Enter word(s), or phrase in search field of E-Sword 2. Cut and Paste grouping of Bible verses into a WORD document 3. Print 4. Read through one time to get a feel of how the word is being used with consideration of its root meaning, and its variations 5. Observe variations and notate to the side 6. Observe progressive usage and its change You can then also re-read your work again and notate in a new document the variations, and the progressions. The process is easy and slow-going, but the effect is a deep understanding of the word/concept you are studying. Additionally, what you learn about how the Holy Spirit uses worlds will shape how you think about the Scripture, and over a process of time, the Scripture that you have memorized and simply memory of will enable you to do rough-draft word-studies within your mind. These are most helpful when studying allegorical phrases and words, like for instance seeking to unlock the deeper meaning of the fig tree, the fig leave, and the fig itself. It is impossible to understand that these represents the people of G-d, the Law of the people of G-d, and the Messiah (respectively) without doing a WS. In consideration of this, these allegorical continuities enable anyone to decode Biblical prophecy, rather than being reliant upon the government funded false church system of local churches and television.
