What do you say when someone asks what your story is? Do you give a detail by detail or can you give an overview. So in that intial thought process start thinking about theme. Theme in screen writing, fiction, or non-fiction is about the overall product. Here is what theme is.... What is the story about, what it means? How it relates to reality and life in general? Relevance of your story to life, life itself? Seen through our characters and experience through our plot.? Compels reader to invest themselves? Makes you think, feel Two realms of character—driven. Two realms of character conflict=inner/outer. Inner barrier blocks hero’s path to successfully encounter exterior conflict. Happy Writing!
