The races well be covering: Congressional race: 17th district: U.S. Representative, Matt Cartwright and Republican challenger, David Moylan, the Schuykill County Coroner. 11th District, Rep. Lou Barletta, a Republican, faces opposition from Democrat Andy Ostroski. State senate: 40th district covering Monroe and northern tier of Northampton counties, Mario Scavello, a Republican and Democratic challenger, Mark Aurand. State representatives: 122nd Legislative District seat. Republican Doyle Heffley and his opponent is Democrat Patti Borger. The 122nd District includes all of Carbon County, with the exception of Summit Hill borough. 176th Legislative District in the West End of Monroe County. Republican Jack Rader and Democrat Hope Smith.
