What do you think, guys? From Nicolas Oblifias: Hello, Top Gear. Im a big fan and I love your posts. I think we will all agree that the biggest problem in Metro Manila is traffic. And we can do nothing but laugh or question if the people in charge are really serious with some of their traffic solutions. We have the recent truck ban, a proposal to ban private vehicles on EDSA, and another proposal to impose a four-day workweek. I would like to share is an idea. What if offices followed two shifts? If you have 50 employees who go to work at the same time, this would mean 50 people on the road at the same time, trying to get to the same place. But if you have two shifts--maybe one shift from 7am to 4pm, and another from 10am to 6pm--that means 25 people on the road at an earlier time and the other 25 people on the road at a later time. I think this would ease up traffic during rush hour. I hope my idea makes sense. I havent really figured out the whole science (or math) of it.
