What do you think of House Speaker John Boehner’s lawsuit against President Obama for overstepping his executive authority? A. I agree with the lawsuit. President Obama has overreached. This is a valid way for Congress to address executive changes to legislation without congressional authority. B. I disagree with the lawsuit. Obama’s executive orders were reasonable accommodations needed to implement legislation passed by Congress. This is a stunt. C. Although the lawsuit is a stunt and likely won’t have any practical result, Congress’ complaints are serious. This just isn’t the best way to rein in executive overreach. D. The lawsuit doesn’t go far enough. President Obama should be impeached. E. The lawsuit is a waste of taxpayer money.
