What do you think of this? This is what I mean... it breaks my heart. How much of a savings was worth someones life? I have to admit it just amazes me... People will camp out in tents for days... People will instigate fights and make threats... People will risk life and limb, QUITE LITERALLY... FOR WHAT??? Just... to buy a $5 toaster that does the dishes... to save $150 or 50% off a flat screen, 100, super plasma, HD3D R2D2, super turbo, halographic, projector television they cant fit in their living room... to grab one of 17 iPhone 13s with matching virtual television wristband watch bundle packs you cant get anywhere else... to snag a lifesized, fully animated, Elmo doll with full wardrobe set for their kid who will outgrow it in 5 months... and it is SAD... just sad to me. Its a reflection on the scarcity mindset that our society has created. We act like were dying to have it... and willing to do just that to get it... really?? Do you realize... The wealthy (no I dont mean just the rich) are sitting back in awe watching all of these people create a visual reminder that we, as humans, are still part of the ANIMAL kingdom... acting like wild animals... scurrying about, crawling over each other and display tables, knocking doors of the tracks, yanking their scraps from each others hands, punching, kicking, biting and using any means necessary to get the best of the catch and feel like the king of the jungle for five minutes because they saved $500 on a bunch of crap... Ive decided to abstain from the commercialization of Black Friday. I wont be a part of these potentially volatile scenarios. I will just work harder to continue to ensure that the lousy $500 savings wont make a difference in my life or the lives of my family and friends. None of this bullshit is worth dying over... THOUGHTS??
