What does a manager should possess to have an effective leadership style? A manager should have the ability to evaluate herself realistically (self assessment). Once weakness is identified, she should find ways and means to improve it. From there, she can be a supportive role model- lead by example to her peers. As a manager, I have a strong work ethics. "Go a mile with extra smile". I will not ask my staff to campaign new loans unless I have captured five new clients. I delegate tasks accordingly and gives them the authority in decision making with accountability. I am a competent manager as evidenced of extra ordinary output consistently for almost a decade. I ensure that the best results are obtain from my own effort, not the intent to please my boss and my co workers but a discernment of qualifying the position.
