What does first love smell like? First love... It smells like a bunch of red roses, with dark velvety petals, and pearls of dew glittering on them, perfectly shaped, and reflecting the seven colours of the rainbow from within their nothingness. Like the smell of earth after that shower of rain you watched from your window, and smiled inwardly to yourself at how much you seemed to enjoy the solitude on a dark lonely night. Like a chocolate cake, freshly baked, and served straight out of the oven. Soft, so soft - that it melts inside your mouth and fills you up with a chocolaty burst, as you bite in. Like the shampoo-ey smell of freshly washed hair on a sunny winter day, and the soft wet caress it leaves on your skin, as you wave your hair about, making you reminisce of better times. Of happier times. Like the smell of her breath, mixed with her cologne - so cute, so sweet, that all you want to do is to hug him tight, and be lost in that heaven forever. First love smells of memories. It smells of happiness. Of smiles and songs, and broken dreams. Of hugs and long walks, and teary-eyed goodbyes. First love smells of mistakes.
