What does it mean to be King of the Pirates? Is it like say, a Yonko with no competition? I never really understood since its kind of an ironic title since pirates tend to live free without being under ruler (aka a king). Next, does Luffy have what it takes to be Pirate King? I think he could gain the power and allies to gain the title but hes not a traditional pirate in how pirates steal, ruin lives, and run illegitimate trades. Characters like Big Mom run businesses like a Mob in how they extort money/ items from others in exchange for not harming them.... Luffy is the type to where he most likely would not allow this type of mistreatment of innocent (especially kind/ giving) people. So as King, he would likely put an end to such pirates... which in way puts an end to real pirates in general no? Pirates could very well become bodyguards of the sea? Maybe become something like hidden villages from naruto lol. ...Im not really looking for solid answers but yeah, makes you think about the possible end aha
