What does it mean when a horse noses the person holding his foot? Most horse owners have seen it: A farrier or other professional goes to pick the horses feet up. The horse may resist a little before agreeing to let his foot be held. And then it begins - nosing, nibbling, licking and rummaging. Why do horses do this? According to Harts Horsemanships Ben Hart, there could be many reasons. Horses are individuals after all. Heres why Ben does not resort to smacking or telling off the horse.
