What does it really mean to be a Christian? To be a Christian is to be Christ-like. It means we are conformed into His image. It is through Jesus that we can be restored to Gods original intent for man in Genesis 1:27,to be made into His image. This is the high calling the Apostle refers to in Philippians 3:14. To settle for anything less is to make a mockery of the work Christ came to do. Paul calls those who teach anything less as dogs in Phil. 3:2. Romans 12:2, tells us we are not to be conformed to this world but we are to be transformed through the renewing of our mind. In other words we have to look at life through Gods Word. It is in this way we discover Gods perfect will for our lives.
