What else MAR? -SG It’s easy to say that Sen. Bong Revilla may have tried to exaggerate his statements using colloquial terms to make an appeal of his innocence in his privilege speech. However, it is hard to debunk lest to ignore his counter-accusations to Noynoy, Mar and Butch Abad whom he called as his persecutors. Bong isn’t good in public speaking, that’s undeniably obvious. He seems to have rehearsed his whole speech. It is saddening to note though that the Senate floor has now become a defense zone or a battle zone for political bickering in the previous months. But beyond the technicalities of speech and parliamentary ethics, we can’t just ignore the points he just made, the same way that we can’t just simply accept his “excuses” and defenses. The scope of his speech is so wide that some people may say (the Palace already did) he is just trying to fabricate lies and turn the table to his accusers. But is that logical? This writer believes that Bong as an “accused” hasn’t lost his privilege to counter-accuse. It may seem unethical and untimely BUT it is necessary for us to KNOW the truth. Laglagan na! Only the blinds, the deaf and the inutile won’t agree to Bong Revilla that the Aquino administration has failed in a lot of things especially in disaster response. But to be fair to the PALACE, it would also be good if Bong Revilla can tell us what had he contributed for a better disaster response? Well, that question would sound familiar to the yellow fanatics. But remember, having DONE nothing in that area does not void his right to criticize. Bong has just confirmed once again things that we already KNOW in the PAST. 1. Noynoy and his cohorts are incompetent. 2. Noynoy and his cohorts are vindictive. 3. Noynoy plays dirty politics. He bends justice in favor of his allies and against his political enemies. 4. Daang Matuwid is a HOAX. But the MOST IMPORTANT revelation that Sen. Revilla gave us today is about MAR ROXAS. We already know many things about him like: 1. He is also vindictive. 2. He can say “P*tang I*a” in public and in front of religious people 3. He is arrogant when he said “bahala na kayo sa buhay niyo” and dropping last name during the Yolanda devastation. 4. His wife is a sadist. Today, we learned that he can also be a good PICK-UP BOY. It’s beyond imagination that “MAR ROXAS” can be so crazy to impeach CJ Corona that he could even make himself a pick up boy. CHEAP! What else can Mar Roxas do?
