What exactly is an Elmo prank call you ask? Consider yourself enlightened. This literally happened to me last night! LOL! Patient (in an unusually squeaky voice): Its my eye, its really big, and red. And my nose is orange now. Me: Oh ok, did you apply anything to your eye? Patient: Yes, I use E@#$ [garbled] vitamins, you know vitamin E, and my eyes are really red and my nose is orange now Me: [laughing] Oh ok, can you spell it out for me? Patent: E-L-M-O Me: Ok, have you been to our pharmacy before? What is your last name? Patient: I dont have one, my name is Elmo Lolll fortunately we werent too busy and we all got a good laugh out of it. Goes to show nothing is off limits.
