What exactly is going on here? How can the state claim IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE CHILD? *The children havent seen their mother since August. *No trial was granted within 90 days. *Despite court orders the state refuses to release any medical records from April 8th on so that the Diegels can prepare a defense and prove their innocence. *The children have been abused and neglected in the states care. *Kayla lost 14 pounds and nearly lost her life due to malnutrition and a vitamin deficiency. *Hannah has lost 9+ pounds and nearly lost her life due to an asthma attack. IT IS WRITTEN THAT THE MOM IS NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK HER DAUGHTERS NAMES. She has never been formally charged and is innocent! The kids want to be with their mom! But the real kicker is that Mom was told she was allowed to give a Christmas gift to each child. So she dropped if off before Christmas......but yesterday she was told that they still hadnt received them yet. It is now January 13th. In each bag were a few things like crafts, a radio and some special dolls. She also gave them each a necklace with their name engraved on it. The necklace has a little shoe and another charm hanging from it saying love. Small to tall I love you all Is the thought behind it. Before visits were stoped Melissa had demonstrated with a large shoe and a baby shoe that she would always love them no mater if they were Small or Tall. She wrote a poem on a baby shoe and gave it to them. This tiny shoe necklace was a reminder of her love. But the state didnt think it was important enough to make sure the girls knew their mother loved them. For shame....for shame.....
