What gets to me about this is.. They are trying to cut benefit fraud. Being a law abiding citizen I done the right thing and notified Tax credits that my partner was moving in with me. They stopped all benefits immediately, then told me it could take 2 weeks for the forms to arrive at my home, then comes the good bit. It could take up to 6 weeks to process and organise payments. My partners ESA was also stopped immediately by the DWP, and I had to cancel my single parents widow allowance. So doing it all legal has going to cause me a financial nightmare. Maybe we the people should sanction them when they dont pay on time. The benefit system is an absolute disgrace if you are working. The working poor are hammered the most.
