What great and mighty things does God want to accomplish with your life today? Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.” Genesis 41:25 NKJV The King of Egypt was troubled by a dream. He summoned the magicians and the wise men of Egypt. No one could interpret the dream for him. He was told by one of his officers Joseph could interpret dreams. Joseph was brought before Pharaoh who said to Joseph, “I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.” Joseph answered, “It is not in me, God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” The magicians and wise men of Egypt could not interpret the Kings dream because they did not have a relationship with God. He did not reveal truth to them because their hearts were hardened to the truth! When Joseph is brought before Pharaoh He takes great care to give God the glory. Joseph made sure there was no misunderstanding. It was Almighty God who spoke to Pharaoh. God would reveal the interpretation of the dream to Pharaoh! The bible tells us that wisdom calls out in the streets and in the market place today. God is speaking to people all over the world. He wants to reveal truth to everyone. People are completely oblivious to the truth God wants to impart to them today. They have hardened their hearts to the truth! Joseph spoke the truth to Pharaoh and left the results of the revelation to God! Do you have a relationship with God today? If so He is calling you to reveal truth to people who have not yet entered into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ! God is not calling you to save anyone. He is calling you to speak the truth to people and to leave the results of that revelation to Him! When I read stories of the great men and women of the bible I often wonder if they were just regular people like us. I wonder if God created them with special gifts and unique talents. The answer to both of these questions is the same. They were regular men and women just like us. God did create them with special gifts and unique talents so He could do all that He desired to accomplish with them! God created us with special gifts and unique talents today. So that He can do all that He desires to accomplish in and through our lives today. God wants to accomplish great and mighty things with our lives just as He did with men and women of faith in biblical times. What great and mighty things does God want to accomplish with your life today? Call out to God today.
