What happened in Ottawa yesterday and Quebec last week is something we as Canadians arent versed in dealing with. Given how many different views there are on political agendas in North America(make no mistake - its all of North America - not just the United States)there is an expected partition between the people who support our current political leaders and those who doubt their intentions and actions. Truth be told; Im unsure where I stand. On one hand ignorance to what could be happening by means of fear mongering could prove to be detrimental to the growth of our country. On the other hand, publications dictate that there is an extremist motive behind these secular attacks. But what does one put faith in? Publically elected officials? Extremist propaganda? I say trust your instincts and what belief suits your life. Nonetheless, what #Harper said was very powerful, and lets be realistic: who didnt feel an overwhelming sense of patriotic pride when reading the transcript? Or watching the address? Or reading the tweets? I did. I got goosebumps, a shiver of wholeness with my fellow Canadians. We will NOT be intimidated, from a fanatical religious sect, nor a governing body. We are Canada.
