What happens to a Soul after one Dies ? Answer - The Person who dies , his Soul hovers on the earths atmosphere for few days , which means around the house where one lived. It can see its family members, it can watch them, But cannot hear them. It can also not express itself to them whatever it wishes to say. After the stipulated period for few days on earth is over, the Soul is then sent ahead for One Year to reach the Vaitarni River and across. If one cries with grief too much on earth after someone dies, then its also very difficult for the Soul to move ahead , leaving them, but it has to go, so goes with much of suffering at watching its family members in grief, which is why its mentioned in Shaastras, Not to Cry much after One Dies. Those whose children or those souls who have themselves when they were living in Bodies, had done much Donations , Charity etc, will meet their Path ahead with some comfortableness. rest will be troubled much due to many difficulties on the way. As they move ahead every month they get some additions to their Astral Body just like a new born Child gets every month in its mothers womb. After reaching its destination the Soul is made to sleep , which is actually a Rest, so that it can move to the next station in its evolutionary path. After the sleep they usually forget who they were in their last Birth and await their next step forward as decreed by the Managers of their Astral realms. This is the reasons that when we call our Dead parents for Help, or Our grandparents for help, they do not come down in any which way, either in dreams or otherwise, because they have been sent to sleep. So its NOT their fault if they do not remember You. (Except for the Spiritually Highly Exalted Souls none after death remembers who he was or his or her family .... so no use for the Living ones to Curse them). Those who Love their Dead Ones and wish to communicate with them, MUST Open their Channels for them to to receive your messages, and for them to respond. This is just like a Remote Control. Unless its set (Configured), no one can put a TV Channel On. Hope you remember the Transistors we had in our childhood in which we could listen to Cricket Commentary. So here too its like this same principle working. You have to first become a Receiver and Tune Yourself to the Channel you wish to connect with.
