What happens when you drink 10 Cokes a day for a month?: telegraph.co.uk/men/active/mens-health/11267286/What-happens-when-you-drink-10-Cokes-a-day-for-a-month.html The results of this month-long sugary soda experiment by a fit 50-year old man were pretty predictable--precipitous weight gain, out of control insulin levels, blood pressure into the hypertension range, and (love this one!) very strong cravings for sugar despite consuming nearly 500g of it in the form of high fructose corn syrup every single day during the experiment. For those who look at nutrition solely based on calories (he didnt increase the amount of calories he consumed), this is a compelling visual to show the folly of that kind of thinking. Ill try to reach out to this guy for an interview on my podcast because this was powerful. A bit crazy if you ask me, but I used to REGULARLY down 16 cans of Coca-Cola daily back in the day.
