What has always mystified me with this entire attempt to discredit evolution by Protestant creationists and appears to have escaped their attention is that even if evolution was proven to to be wrong, beyond a shadow of a doubt tomorrow (hypothetically, of course), it would still not provide one scintilla of evidence for their god. In their brains, it appears to work like this; evolution is wrong - therefore there must be a god. Not only a god, a Christian god. Not only a Christian god, a Protestant Christian god. Not only a Protestant Christian god, a Protestant Christian god of their denomination. Not only a Protestant Christian god of their denomination, but a Protestant Christian god of their denomination that........ I dont see it myself. :DL
