What has been most depressing is the use of foul, frivolous, obscene & derogatory language while criticizing the opponent... It started from the dais & reached all possible forums. Look at any profile on social media, wall, news feed ~ People have stooped down to their lowest of lows in ridiculing & degrading your opinion, support or point of view if it doesnt match theirs... I wonder if this is the beginning of the idea of Freedom of Speech... Its a glaring example of the levels of hatred, bigotry & intolerance that we should be expecting in times to come... This is what we are inculcating from the political discourse. Weve become a starkly divided, rage filled nation, out to rip each other apart, beginning with WORDS... I shudder to imagine what tomorrow holds for us... Go ahead HATE! me for speaking my mind...
