What has changed since I stopped being a Pentecostal? Not much - TopicsExpress

What has changed since I stopped being a Pentecostal? Not much and yet a lot. Let me explain. Not much because I am still His and He is still mine, my passion for Him is ever so intense, I still long after holiness and the fear of the Lord, I still believe in the supernatural, I still love His Word, I still love to worship Him in the beauty of holiness, I am still in awe of Him. A lot because I no longer seek signs and wonders because He is enough for me, I have come to appreciate and understand Gods Word all the more, I have learned a deeper depth of His grace and love, I know more about what He saved me from, I have learned to trust in His sovereignty, I have come to understand my own salvation better. I do believe, in all honesty, and humility, that being Pentecostal had its benefits, as I learned holiness, prayer, worship, and yet it did stunt my growth and appreciation for Gods salvation and His Word. In many ways I am the same person who was born again from above, by the power of the Holy Spirit 16 years ago, and yet I am different, because I know the depth of what that now means. When I say GLORY TO GOD now, it has a richer meaning.
