What has happened in the Middle East according to a recent UN study of the refugee problem is the greatest humanitarian catastrophe since WWII. It is a catastrophe that US imperialism bears direct responsible for having created. There is clear evidence of the fact that the US trained ISIS in Jordan as the following link will indicate-ibtimes.co.in/iraq-crisis-isis-terrorists-were-trained-by-us-2012-syria-conflict-602594 Obamas recent plan to dole out another $.5 billion to what he calls the mythical moderates is just more support for the ISIS terrorists disguised as support for the nominal front organizations that CIA stood up in 2012 to provide a public relations cover to the fact that once again there is a clear and consistent link to Al-Qaeda. Its various manifestations and so called affiliates goes clear back to Afghanistan during the Reagan/Casey era that originally developed Al-Qaeda as the base, i.e. the computer data base that held the names and personal contact data on the available worldwide jihaddi force that existed at that time that could be thrown into the fight against the USSRs invasion of Afghanistan. There is also a clear and provable link between the genocide ( or gendercide) being conducted by ISIS. Not since the massacre of the 8.000 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenicia by the Bosnian Serbs has such clear evidence of genocide been made known to the public as well as a clear link established not only to the perpetrators but their sources of funding and training. Those sources are of course the Al-Saud dynasty as well as the other feudal monarchies on the Arabian peninsula that constitute the countries of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) that US imperialism and its Zionist gangster ally have partnered with in an effort to rollback the Iranian Revolution and the imagined threat posed by the larger Shia Crescent. US imperialism is involved in a deeply convoluted situation of its own making that gives some indication of its inability to provide any sort of coherent leadership in an era where its global influence has been seriously eroded and diminished to the point that anything that its does or doesnt do will have repercussions far greater than anything ever seen before in our lifetime. US imperialism today stands more isolated than ever before in its history. The recent decision of the EU leadership to settle all disagreements with Russia over Ukraine represent another major setback for US imperialism as even its most loyal former European allies have now broken ranks and decided for the most part in favor of Russia and the need to maintain that particular emerging market at the expense of a US market that has been declining for years. The refusal of the US to make good on the delivery of the F-16s purchased by the Iraqi government is a clear indication of the slight of hand that US imperialism is using. Not having the ability to give air cover to Iraqi forces in the field fighting ISIS was THE critical factor that allowed the US trained terrorists to seize all the towns and areas that they did. Clearly such was part of the US deep state plan for putting pressure on Maliki to come to terms with US imperialism or to be discarded or overthrown. It is a distinct badge of honor on his part that he has had the moral character to resist such pressure from the imperialist camp. The battle for Baghdad is looking more like the battle for Stalingrad in WWII. There is every reason to believe that if Maliki is able to hold on in Baghdad that he will hand the US its greatest humiliation and defeat since the debacle of Vietnam. The battle may hinge on the ability of Iran to stabilize the situation by bring to bear the shock troops that will be needed to resist not only ISIS but the entire US/Al-Saud/GCC axis. The battle hardened head of the Iranian Republican Guards now directing the action in Baghdad is known for a certain kind of military genius under fire that few people in the world today can match.
