What has happened to the level of politicians we have running this country ? In one state , we have a shark cull , which is futile and will do nothing to stop shark attacks , but may destroy the ecosystem by removing the alpha predator. There is better shark deterants that can be used without harming sharks . In another state they are going to start dumping waste in the great barrier reef , which is listed in the world heritage and already suffering from agricultural run off . The manufacturing industry is dying in my state and will make thousands un-employed, there is talk also beginning coal seem gas havesting aswell , which is a ticking time bomb . That is just the state polly,s let alone the feds , who only seem to be interested in screwing ordinary people out of more money with no belt tightening done on their own behalf . Rant over , for now :)
