What has the full moon got to do with your Essential Oils ? Nearly every culture in the world view the moon as a symbol, in particular the symbol of change. Moon phases (called lunar phases) change throughout the month and are regular and highly predictable. The lunar phases affects the rise and falls of sea levels. Tides are created because the Earth and the moon are attracted to each other, just like magnets are attracted to each other. Beside the tides, all plants and animals are also entrained to it’s rhythm. Using subtle aromatherapy (energetic or vibrational attributes of essential oils), corresponding essential oils can be diffused according to moon phases because essential oils effects on the mind and emotions. Specific essential oils can be selected and used to support the intentions of each moon phase. Waning Moon : is about letting go and releasing. A perfect time for self reflection and removing oneself from negative situations and influences. It is therefore a period of consideration and weighing of options.
