What have you been up to someone said? Well, summer is over (sadly) but the need for quality Artisan soap goes on, so weve been producing all along! Second Time Around in Souris sells a steady supply as does Souris Treasures By The Sea and Artisans on Main. Since Christmas is just around the corner for small batch producers like Black Rafter, our soaps have to be mixed and poured now to ensure enough time for proper curing, so here is a shot of this mornings labor of love, 2014 Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. A lovely golden brown color, absolutely no chemicals used in the process, but the addition of Frankincense essential oil from Egypt, Myrrh from India, and pure Gold leaf as the bright glitter decorating the top. Each bar will have the heady, exotic scent of faraway places, with a touch of luxury sprinkled on top. If last years sales are any indication, this Christmas soap will sell out fast, as will the Peppermint variety, and the Gingerbread! Stay tuned for updates, pictures and dates!
