What i have for my pple today 16/3/2014:WHY OUR WEALTH HAS FAILED TO SATIFSY US?in my experience,civilizationðics,Albert Schweitzer maintained dat d prosperity of a society depends on d moral disposition of its members.The supposition is dat no society&in our case,a nation-state,can aspire to,or lay claims to any growth&development,if its members lack d requisite moral disposition needed to actualize these,Omoregbe argues dat to d extent to wic moral laxity,egoism,individualism,lack of sense of duty,bribery,corruption,egoistic disregard for public wellbeing,embezzlement of public funds,etc prevail in any society,to dat extent is d development of dat society obstructed&rendered impossible.in terms of morality,d greatest obstacle 2Nigeria is d clear absence of social responsibility&accountability on d part of her citizens.if tday our wealth has becom a source of worry for us,it is becos of certain negative trends dat we pride our existence on as individuals&as a nation.Bobmythigor
