What if I put it to you that the call for voting by show of hands - TopicsExpress

What if I put it to you that the call for voting by show of hands had nothing to do with the endorsement of the Vice president, but more about the speaker? Khama Is very vindictive. He holds grudges for a longtime. He doesnt forgive easily. The book by Nasha have infuriated him. He long planned Nashas downfall when he recalled Kokorwe a few months ago. In 2003 in the run up to the infamous Gantsi congress where he (Khama) was contesting for the party chairmanship against Kedikilwe, the late Chapson Jabavu Butale who supported Kedikilwe, made a statement that angered Khama so much. He said, I quote, e tlaare re bowa ko Gantsi bangwe ba bo ba rwelwe ka di helikoptara ba idibetse. This was in reference to Khama who at the time was using the BDF chopper at will. That statement angered Khama so much that he wanted Butale replaced as an MP for Tati East. He confided this to his friend Thapelo Olopeng who subsequently introduced Guma Moyo. The rest is history. Butale was beaten badly by Guma Moyo. Thats Khama, in case you didnt know him by now. Very vindictive president he is.
