What if every Walmart shareholder got an email with a hyperlink that said share a percent with a Walmart worker, and by clicking it they could relinquish some percentage of the value of the company they owned to workers making less than a living wage? Wouldnt that deflate the asinine argument Walmart is making that their shareholders would rebel if they increased cost in any way because it would effect their margin? Wouldnt this be a great way to shrink the welfare state by getting tens of thousands of full time workers off the dole? Somebody with time and energy should start one of those nifty online campaign thingies.
