What if it wasnt about white vs. black? What if its not about about gay vs. straight, hard-working vs. lazy, sick vs. well, conservative vs. progressive, one party vs. the other party? Christs teachings boil down to two explicit demands: love God and love others. On this day, examine yourself. What other agendas have you possibly allowed to flavor your obedience of these demands? More and more, this is not the time for a one side against the other spat - these are times to unite in becoming disciples of and for Jesus. Hate and sin will never triumph - love will. 46 years later, it seems so many have not yet gotten the message - do you? Today, my boldness is untypically unapologetic. ^dt
