What if the "experts"are wrong...again. What if the critics are right? I did not realize fracking was so widespread...it is nationwide and becoming more and more intrusive. The "experts", almost all employed by the Corporations who are making a killing off the practice, assure us it is safe..there will be no future problems. Where have we heard that before? What if the critics, many scientists with no dog in this hunt except concern for the future, are correct? What if this brine or whatever it is we are pumping into the Earth at high pressure does make its way into our fresh water aquifers...what if we poison our only viable source if potable water? There is no way we can de-salt enough sea water to support life. Our rivers are fed by the very same water supply we may be poisoning.. What if we are paving our planets road to becoming the next Mars? The next dead, red planet? Who will send a rover to discover if life ever existed on Earth...and what killed that life.
