What if we develop an African centered kind of education? The one where we teach our children about the beauties of various African cultures, strong African anti-colonialism leaders, African food, culture and entertainment? Instead of European history, world war, discoveries such as the source of the great River Nile, lake Victoria etc., Africans actually discovered these great wonders before the European explorers did. Africans had names for these water bodies, but the white man came and replaced them with their own, then claimed they are the first to discover them. Can we please give the African history a chance? Can teach our children on how to avoid future wars and tribal conflicts, instead of the great wars fought amongst these tribes, because we only raise a generation that hates each other, since we choose to teach them the ancestral conflicts. Thats just my opinion, African based education is more important than the western centered one.
