What is Biafra? Biafra means that the South-East of Nigeria, made up of Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi and Imo States together with the Ibo-speaking peoples of the Delta and Rivers States will become a country. All the natural and mineral resources upon or under land, forming part of the territory of Biafra, shall belong to the person or persons or community who are part of Biafra. There shall be the Biafra Army, the Biafra Police and the Biafra Security Agencies. There shall be Biafra Magistrate Court, High Court, Appeal Court, and the Supreme Court. There shall be Biafra Constitution, Coat of Arms, Flag, Anthem and Emblem. What is Regional Autonomy? Regional Autonomy means that Nigeria will be restructured into a federation consisting of a Central Government and Regional Governments. This could be based on the current six geopolitical zones. The South-East will include all the Ibo states of Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Imo States together with the Ibo-speaking peoples of the Delta and Rivers States. All the natural and mineral resources upon or under land, forming part of the territory of each region, shall belong to the person or persons or community who are part of the region. There shall be the South-East Regimental Army, the South-East Police and the South-East Security Agencies. There shall be a South-East Magistrate Court, High Court, Appeal Court, and intermediate with the Nigerian Supreme Court. There shall be a South-East Constitution, Coat of Arms, Flag, Anthem and Emblem. With a provision for the right to self determination on and up to the right to secede. There is no difference between Biafra and Regional Autonomy. The only difference here is that Biafra is achievable through a peaceful dissolution of Nigeria or by war. But with Regional Autonomy, Biafra will only be possible through a peaceful referendum.
