What is COINTELPRO? (Counter intelligence programs) aka infowars, aka Alex Jones, aka Jessie Ventura, aka Dan dicks. (Example of cointelpro.) Jones On his show and in real life are 2 different people. In one of his rants Alex Jones describes cointelpro, then at a rally blows his cover as just such an agent. A counter intelligence program is the act of infiltrating a group, movement, militia, protest, etc. The primary functions of COINTELPRO are as follows: -inciting violence into a peaceful revolution. A violent revolution or protest can easily be dealt with by force and often times justifies martial law/excessive military and or police presence, City lockdown and occupation even if temporarily. However stopping the spread of a peaceful protest without justification is difficult. This is where provocateurs come in. Acting as part of the team they incite violence... And against the will of the movement itself. - gate keeping. The cointel agent provides you with peices of truth but misdirects you in how you should deal with this new information. Sometimes accompanied by defeatist suggestions. I.e. This is what the government is doing, and it is so far gone that there is nothing we can do! -discrediting of their person and hence the movement they have infiltrated. Jessie Ventura is a great example, he tells you about the FEMA camps and literally visits them. But in the next episode of his (mainstream satellite/cable tv show conspiracy theory) he talks about aliens and reptilian shape shifters as well as nazi time travel and so on. In turn when you tell someone about a legitimate conspiracy, they are programmed to end the debate with you because they assume that you believe the Queen of England is an alien Lizard.
