What is Christmas? What is Christianity? Its like this story: A man walks into a courtroom and when his case is called he approaches the bench. The Judge asks, How do you plead?. Guilty, your honor, says the young man. The Judge raps the gavel and says $500 fine.. Then....the Judge does something unusual. He rolls back his big leather chair. Stands and removes his long black robe. He steps out from behind his big wooden bench and walks around, down the steps and walks up to the man he just fined. The Judge pulls out his wallet and hands his son $500. God did the same thing for us. The Law and Righteousness require punishment for sin. God laid aside His power and left Heaven to come down here and play a penalty He didnt want us to pay....that we couldnt pay. And its no myth. The evidences for Jesus life and resurrection are numerous and compelling. Seek that truth. And know that the God that spoke this world into existence loves you that much. Merry Christmas!
