What is Gaza?1. Gaza was invaded by Israel in 1967& eversince Israel is illegally occupying the wholeof the Gaza strip.2. Gaza is surrounded on three sides byIsrael who has blocked all these three sidesby Israeli army.& Navy.One side is border of Egypt where theEgyptian army along with Israeli & UNobservers & monitors blocks the entry of anybody from/to Gaza.Gaza is literally huge prison where not evena bird can enter without Israel’s permission.3. Gaza has no sea port or airport or even atrain station.4. Gaza residents cannot leave Gaza as theydon’t even have passports. Plus there areIsraeli checkpoints at every place.Also no one from any country can enter Gazawithout Israel’s permission which is impossibleto get , forget about ordinary man eventhetop politicians of powerful countries had beendenied entry in Gaza by Israel.Gaza is a place which is totally cutoff fromthe rest of the world.5. Each and every daily use commoditiescomes through these Israeli check points.Even the milk, wheat medicines all itemscome through these Israeli check points.Israel charge taxes on all the items witchgoes through these check points.6. Gaza is like a big jail. It is entire countryunder seize. Even inside Gaza Israel haveseveral check posts at important junctions.The Israeli army harasses and humiliatesGaza citizens every day as the Gaza citizenscross these check posts.7. The UN has urged Israel numerous times toremove this illegal seizure of Gaza but Israelnever listen to UN .More then 50 resolutions have been passedby UN against Israel but with USA always onits side so Israel just doesn’t care.8. The food and essentials are always inshort supply in Gaza as Israel delays,discourages and harass its imports in Gaza.Shops don’t have enough rations, hospitalsdon’t have enough and essential medicines.Power is in short supply, petrol and gas is inshortage too.The inflation is highest in the world in Gazaas a result of it. The poverty is rising atthehighest rate also.The Gaza children’s are among the worstmalnutrition children now.9. There are no specialized doctors orequipments to treat the serious injury ordisease in any hospitals. Every now and thenIsraeli army bomb Gaza and the innocentcivilians get hurt during bombing.These wounded civilians plead and beg in thecheck points to let them out for treatmentbut they kind Israeli army never let them.So the wounds which could have been treatedbecome more severe and often the woundedbecomes handicapped for the rest of theirlives.10. Once a thriving society and rich peoplenow have become beggars & prisonersintheir own country.Can you imagine the trauma the humiliationthe harassment the pain in the hearts ofthese people who have been invaded andmade prisoners and slaves in their owncountry?They have been struggling for theirindependence since almost 50 years now. Witheach passing day Israel is constructingnewsettlements for its Israeli citizens in theirland.With each passing day their hope ofindependence, a hope to live a normal lifelike any other human is fading away. Everynight they sleep in pain and every morningthey wake up with sorrows.In the pretext of peace talks Israel actuallyis delaying their independence to capturemore and more of their land everyday byconstructing new Israeli homes andsettlements.The Palestinians know this and they arewatching it helplessly.Just like a goat watch the lion eats itschildren but can do nothing. They areshedding tears of blood.With Israeli soldiers harassing them , cursingthem, abusing them mocking them, hurtingthem , killing them everyday in their veryown land, all Palestinians can do is watch andcry.What suggestions do you have now? Thewestern paid media is making & broadcastingnews in such a manner that one should feelas if Gaza residence are the one who areoccupying Israel and Israel is fighting forthe freedom of its citizen.So that people can only curse and blameGaza residents.Can you try to feel their misery andhelplessness?We can not even imagine spending even oneday in the jail called Gaza and they areliving there everyday.Please stand up for them for the sake ofhumanity
