What is Islam, and what Muslims believe? Question: What is Islam, and what Muslims believe? The answer: the Islamic religion was founded in the beginning of the seventh century by a person named Mohammed. He said that the angel Gabriel had visited. During this angelic visits that lasted about 23 years until the death of Mohammed, alleged that the angel revealed to Muhammad the words of God. This revelation, which is what I hope it is the Koran, which is the holy book of Islam. Islam teaches that the Quran is the upper floor, another inspired by God. Muslims, who are followers of the Islamic faith, believe that the Koran is the word of God and the full existing since time immemorial. Above this many Muslims reject the existence of the Koran in any other languages. Vatorgomat not considered certified copies of the Koran that exists only in Arabic. Although the Koran is the main writers who believe in it, but the year is the second source of religious belief. Companions year has been written which contains the sayings and deeds of Muhammad and passed. The main beliefs in Islam is that God is the only true God, and that Muhammad was a prophet of God. And that a person can become a Muslim Once approved these two faiths. The word Muslim means. The person who delivers God. Islam claims that the only true religion, which was derived which other religions (including Judaism and Christianity). Based on the Muslim faith five columns / pillars: 1. certificate: There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of God. 2. prayer must perform five prayers a day. 3. Zakat: providing money to the poor, including that all comes from God. 4. Fasting: In addition to sporadic fasting, should all Muslims to fast the month of Ramadan (the ninth month of the Islamic calendar). 5. Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, which is at least once a human life (during the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar). These five pillars, namely the framework of obedience for Muslims, taken with the utmost seriousness and professionalism. Muslim Entering into paradise hinges on obedience to these five pillars. There are several significant similarities and differences between Islam and Christianity. Like Christianity Islam believes in one God, but unlike Christianity Islam rejects the concept of the Trinity. Islam accepts parts of the Bible, such as law books and Bibles, but most of the Bible that he rejects the typeface and is given by inspiration of God. Islam claims that Jesus was just a prophet and not the Son of God (Allah is the only God, according to Islam, how is he his son?) Islam affirms that Jesus, despite his birthday Aladhirawi is a creature like Adam from the dust of the earth. Muslims believe that Jesus did not die on the cross; and thus deny a basic teachings of Christianity. Finally, Islam teaches that paradise is through the good works and obedience to the Koran. In contrast, the Bible shows that the man can not be up to the holiness of God under his belt scale. Could only save sinners because of the mercy and love of God through faith in Christ. (Ephesians 2: 8-9). Obviously it can not be both Islam and Christianity is correct. Either Jesus was the greatest prophet, or that Muhammad was the greatest prophet. Either that the Bible is the word of God or that the Koran is the word of God. Either you are saved, to accept the Lord Jesus Christ, Savior or saved been fulfilled the five pillars of Islam. Again, can not be two religions are correct at the same time. Thats right, any distinction between the two religions is essential in his eternal results.
