What is Socialism? This link will take you to a small pamphlet that tries to answer this question in everyday language. A lot has changed since this pamphlet was written five years ago - most importantly the rising tide of worker and youth revolts that has started to develop. But the main points are still very relevant. One note: It is laid out to be printed up back-to-back and folded over into pamphlet form.
